The book Polish freedoms by Piotr Wójcik and Justyna Pobiedzińska was published by The Picture Doc Foundation and the National Center for Culture. The introduction was written by Michał Boni and Tomasz Kizny. The graphic design was prepared by Domnique Roynette.

Piotr Wójcik awarded

On the 13th of December, the 33rd anniversary of the introduction of the Martial Law in Poland, the president of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski has conferred orders to those with special achievements in the field of polish democratic transformations. Piotr Wójcik, a former printer in the “Krąg” underground publishing house and photographer for the “Przegląd Wiadomości Agencyjnych” weekly was awarded the Order of Polonia Restituta.

Freedom or not?

The ”Freedom Container” project ended with a debate entitled “Freedom or Not?” which was held on the 27th of October at the Państwo Miasto Cafe in Warsaw. The debate concerned civil involvement in contemporary Poland. The participants included: Jadwiga Czartoryska (Orange Foundation), prof. Ireneusz Krzemiński (University of Warsaw), Dorota Warakomska (Women’s Congress), Kuba Wygnański (Stocznia Foundation) and Piotr Wójcik (author of “Polish Freedoms”.)

Dialogue, an opportunity for changes – the last edition

The last edition of workshops for Roma journalists entitled “Dialogue, an opportunity for change” took place in Oświęcim. The workshops were conducted by: Dariusz Fedor, Adam Kozak, Dominique Roynette and Piotr Wójcik. They were addressed to ten participants, who completed the workshops by publishing a zine.
The workshops were organised by the Association of Roma in Poland, the “Dialog-Pheniben” quarterly, and the Picture Doc Foundation.
