Russian freedoms is a project developed in 2015 in which Piotr Wójcik and Tomasz Kizny tried to discover how Russians define private and public freedom today. The authors asked their protagonists about their personal stories and experiences. The often ambiguous choices they make create a specific portrait of Russians through the prism of freedom.
Piotr Wójcik's and Justyna Pobiedzinska's documentary project approaches the subject of the 1989 democratic transformation. The goal of the project is defining "freedom" - the fundamental postulate of the democratic opposition and the "Solidarność" movement and in a wider historical perspective – the idea that led several generations of Poles fighting for polish independence.
